2025年10月16日Guoxing Aerospace was established in 2018, and its satellites and related services mainly involve the research and development, manufacturing, sales, and operation of low Earth orbit (LEO) commercial satellites, especially AI satellites.
It is reported that this is the second application submitted by Guoxing Aerospace. On January 27, 2025, Guoxing Aerospace submitted its prospectus to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, intending to be listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, aiming to become the “first commercial aerospace stock” in the Hong Kong stock market, with Guotai Junan International as the exclusive sponsor.
However, on June 20th, Guoxing Aerospace received feedback from the China Securities Regulatory Commission regarding the filing of this overseas listing, requesting additional information on the company’s and its subsidiaries’ business scope and actual operations, as well as the specific qualifications and licenses held by the company and its subsidiaries. Finally, due to the prospectus being over 6 months old, it expired on July 27th.
According to the prospectus, as of the final feasible date, Guoxing Aerospace has independently developed 6 AI payloads, 4 AI application satellites, and 16 AI intelligent computing satellites, and has successfully completed 14 space missions.
The revenue increased significantly from 177.4 million yuan in 2022 to 507.5 million yuan in 2023, and further increased to 553.5 million yuan in 2024, with a compound annual growth rate of 76.6% from 2022 to 2024.
As of the final feasible date, Guoxing Aerospace has obtained approval from the National Development and Reform Commission for the addition of 60 satellites, including orders for the development of 26 AI intelligent computing satellites.
As of the final feasible date, 12 out of the 26 AI intelligent computing satellites have been successfully launched.
