According to CCTV Finance on April 3, a certain store has listed three satellite products with prices ranging from 2 million yuan to 30 million yuan, and has sold two so far. One of them is the “1U CubeStar” sold by Luo Yonghao and his live streaming team at a discounted price of around 1 million yuan, which is the first physical satellite transaction since domestic e-commerce live streaming.
Satellite e-commerce sales is a new thing. Some experts believe that it represents the maturity of China’s satellite Internet industry. Faced with the bottleneck of satellite production capacity and cost, the satellite manufacturer said: “Through technology optimization, it is expected to reduce the price of domestic satellites by 60% in a few years”.
