Aerospace Satellite Super Factory Landing in Xiong’an (Satellite Sales)

On June 10th, another new aerospace company was announced to be established in Xiong’an New Area – Xiong’an Aerospace Satellite Super Factory Co., Ltd.
According to business information, the registered capital of the company is 200 million yuan, and its business scope includes research and development, production, and sales of small satellites. Fully owned by the state-owned enterprise Xiong’an High tech Zone Construction and Development Co., Ltd., Xiong’an High tech Zone Construction and Development Co., Ltd. also invested in the establishment of Xiong’an Commercial Satellite Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in April this year.
It is reported that the Xiong’an Aerospace Satellite Super Factory is the first large-scale commercial satellite intelligent manufacturing base in Xiong’an New Area. It will undertake the production and manufacturing functions of core components such as satellite structures, energy systems, solar wings, antennas, payloads, and control systems, forming a complete industrial chain from research and development to assembly.
It is reported that this plot of land is planned to introduce aerospace information projects such as satellite manufacturing and assembly, laser terminals, and satellite payloads, and together with plot 006, form the Xiong’an New Area Satellite Base land.
Xiong’an released information stating that as of March 2025, there are over 60 companies in the aerospace information field with “China Star Network” as the chain owner. Among these 60 companies, there are upstream satellite and rocket design and manufacturing, satellite launch base construction, as well as midstream ground equipment manufacturing and satellite operation services, and downstream data applications and communication operations.
According to 2024 data, the Xiong’an Satellite Earth Station has completed signal enhancement testing for 20 Beidou-3 satellites. It is planned to become a global satellite Internet control center in the future, responsible for constellation scheduling, data relay and other key tasks.
The Three Year Action Plan for the Aerospace Information Industry issued by the National Development and Reform Commission shows that Xiong’an will be listed as the “core hub of low altitude satellite Internet”, and support the construction of satellite ground stations, measurement and control centers, data processing centers and other key facilities. The “14th Five Year Plan” for Science and Technology Innovation in Xiong’an New District in 2025 proposes that by 2030, the scale of the aerospace information industry will exceed 50 billion yuan, forming a complete industrial chain.
Xiong’an New Area, as the core bearing area of national strategy, is accelerating the layout of satellite Internet, Beidou navigation, remote sensing monitoring and other aerospace information industries. Some media said that Xiong’an wants to build a “new polar region of aerospace information industry” in China and even the world.
