2025年10月16日Recently, Juntian Aerospace, a commercial satellite research and development manufacturer, completed a Series B financing of hundreds of millions of yuan, with investors including Huicui Hengyi, Binfu Capital, Huishan Science and Technology Innovation Group, and Xichuang Capital from Jiangsu Huishan High tech Zone Industrial Fund.
It is understood that this round of financing will be used for the construction and operation of SAR satellite research and development production base and data center projects.
Beijing Juntian Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd. was established in December 2021 and is a national high-tech enterprise mainly engaged in the research and development and manufacturing of commercial satellites. The core team comes from a pillar enterprise in China’s aerospace satellite development, including the “Tiangong” space laboratory, the chief designer of the space station, and the deputy chief designer. Many members have participated in the research, demonstration, and design implementation of national science and technology major projects and new aerospace systems. Relying on the first-class technical strength and excellent satellite development experience of the team, Juntian Aerospace gradually reduces satellite manufacturing costs through disruptive innovation through integrated, standardized, and modular design of satellite construction methods, and carries out the development of a new generation of commercial satellites with high cost-effectiveness and wide application in multiple fields.
After more than three years of establishment, Juntian Aerospace has formed a satellite product matrix represented by optical remote sensing satellites, SAR satellites, low orbit communication satellites, and in orbit service satellites.
Last year, Juntian Aerospace successfully launched its first satellite, Juntian-1 01A. After the satellite was launched into orbit, it captured measurement and control signals and successfully received data. Within two weeks, it completed data delivery to users, demonstrating the company’s strong capabilities in satellite platform development; Afterwards, the company successfully launched its first new technology validation satellite, which validated new technologies such as the next-generation onboard computing system, integrated information system, in orbit real-time processing system, and structural thermal control TR payload integration module, laying a solid technical foundation for the development of the next generation of low-cost modular satellites.
This year, Juntian Aerospace successfully completed the development of its first SAR satellite, Juntian-1 04A, which, in conjunction with the company’s independently developed satellite control and application service platform, can provide a series of satellite application services such as urban supervision, building and road bridge settlement monitoring, landslide warning, and water conservancy facility monitoring; Meanwhile, the development of a new generation of modular fusion communication satellites is steadily advancing.
