As the first commercial X-band phased array radar imaging satellite in Jinjiang District, Jinjiang Xingyuan has many outstanding performances. Its X-band imaging is close to optical imaging effect, which can meet the requirements of high-resolution observation of the earth. It is worth mentioning that the satellite is equipped with a new onboard AI system, which can achieve automatic recognition and autonomous analysis of moving targets on land and sea, and has achieved significant results in emergency rescue, target tracking and other scenarios. In addition, satellite observations have a width of over 25 kilometers and can obtain sub meter level images 24/7, unaffected by rainy, snowy, and cloudy weather, effectively ensuring the stability and timeliness of observation data.

In terms of satellite configuration, Jinjiang Xingyuan has unique features compared to traditional satellites, adopting a large flat plate structure. This configuration endows the satellite with the functions of unfolding and folding, enabling multiple satellites to be stacked and launched by a single rocket, significantly improving the space utilization efficiency of the entire satellite and effectively reducing unit launch costs.
It is reported that Jinjiang Xingyuan is jointly developed by Xingyuan Space (Chengdu) Information Technology Co., Ltd., a high growth enterprise in Jinjiang District, and Huantian Smart Technology Co., Ltd.
